About Dangla
Dangla (also spelled Dangila) is a town in northwestern Ethiopia, located about 80 km south of Bahir Dar. It is one of the major towns in the Agew Awi zone of the Amhara region. With an average elevation of 2,137 m above sea level, it has a moderate climate throughout the year with a maximum temperature in March/April not exceeding 27 oC (81 oF). It enjoys two major seasons: wet (June to September) and dry (October to May) with a plentiful and reliable rainfall of about 1,500 mm per year.
